Wild Hats was a hat company that I created for my year 11 course work. This was my final major project where we had to create a small business brand that sells hats, I was able to choose everything about the brand (type of hats, designs, customer profile, materials, etc.) but we had a price limit that we had to fit in. The aim was to stay within £5000 and find out how many hats I would be need to sell to be able to breakeven.
I did fine art throughout year 10-11 (2020-2022).
This was the period where I truly discovered my love for the creative industry. I always loved creative-related projects but doing fine art in secondary school helped me recognise it.
I started out wanting to go down the architecture path so a lot of my work was linked to architecture.
I enjoyed fine art as it allowed me to explain my thoughts visually as I struggle to explain things verbally sometimes.
These are just some of my favourite pages out of my year 10-11 sketchbook.
I had 3 sketchbooks in total over the two years of taking fine art for GCSE. These sketchbooks were A4 size.
